General Information

General Conduct

  • As a member, you have a responsibility to ensure the courts and grounds are well maintained, follow the rules and code of conduct as well as encourage other members to do so, and raise any violations to a member of the club’s Board of Directors.

Volunteer Club

  • Chandlers Landing Tennis is a volunteer club and members enjoy low membership fees as a result.
  • Each member is expected to contribute a few hours each year to maintaining the club and volunteering for duties.

Hours of Operation

  • Hours: Courts are open for play from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily except as indicated.
  • Court availability will depend on club programming and lessons. 

Members Only

  • Tennis courts are for the private use of Members and their invited guests only and are NOT open to the public.
  • The Head Tennis Professional is responsible for managing the Club’s Tennis program and facilities, and has the authority to enforce Club Rules.

Non-Member Policy

  • Non-Members may enjoy club clinics and leagues (subject to availability), lessons, mixers and special events at non-member prices as determined by CL Tennis, Inc, CLT Board, and CLT Tennis Committee.
  • Non-Members do not have court reservation privileges and no regularly scheduled court time is permitted.
  • Non-Members are not permitted to use the ball machine.

Guest Policy

  • Guests must be accompanied by a member.
  • Guests do not have court reservation privileges and no regularly scheduled court time is permitted.
  • Guests may not reserve or use the ball machine.

Respectful Behavior

  • Members and guests must conduct themselves in a courteous and responsible manner.
  • They must refrain from violent, threatening, abusive language or behavior.

Tennis Attire

  • Proper tennis attire is required on the courts (i.e. no cut off jean shorts, shirts required).
  • Non-marking, shallow tread shoes are mandatory to prevent damage to the court surface. 

Locking Gates

  • If you are the last players of the day, please lock the tennis court gate when done playing.
  • Also, please turn off the court lights.

Pets

  • Pets must be supervised to ensure they do not disturb playing members.
  • They must be leashed and in the care and control of a designated person when on club property.
  • Pets are not permitted on the courts or in the clubhouse.
  • Any animals that cause a disturbance, which includes barking or act in a threatening manner, which includes growling or lunging at people, must be removed from the premises. 

Service Animals

  • Service animals will be accommodated in accordance with the local regulations.

Children

  • Children are welcome but must be supervised to ensure they don’t disturb playing members.

Consideration of Neighbors

  • Members should keep noise to a minimum in consideration of neighbors.

Music

  • Members should keep music volume to a minimum in consideration of players on adjacent courts.
